Carl Kuster Mountain Park, BC
Carl Kuster Mountain Park is situated on almost 180,000 acres in the Monashee Mountain Range in between Sicamous and Revelstoke British Columbia. The Monashee Mountains get roughly 60ft of snow each year with elevation up to 10,000 ft making it an ideal location for sledding above the clouds. STAR VALLEY, WYOMING
Just South of Jackson Hole, Star Valley, WY is home to multiple professional snowmobile athletes and high-end back country guide services. Situated in a beautiful mountain valley surrounded on all sides by National Forest. With three rivers and many streams running through the valley, it’s no surprise there is always something fun and exciting to do, especially if backcountry riding is your thing. With late fall snowfall guaranteed almost always, Star Valley is a great early season riding option!
GREATER IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO
Living here over the last 4 years, Idaho Falls has proven to be a hub for outdoor recreation of all types! With the Saint Anthony Sand Dunes reaching up to 400’ tall, just 30 mins away, you will have unlimited fun on your atv, utv, or dirt bike. Not to mention, within an hour you can access some of the best snowmobiling and winter recreation in the lower 48.
We decided to head cruise into Twin Falls this year, as it is an outdoor recreation giant with a ton of accommodations to choose from. Twin Falls is also in close proximity to outstanding backcountry riding zones, including the Trinity Mountains/Fairfield area, Diamondfield Jacks area, and the marked trails of the Sawtooth National Forest. There are lots of good vacation rental options in the area. The whole experience in this area of Southern Idaho blew our minds!
COEUR D’ALENE, IDAHO
Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, here we go! Coeur d’Alene boasts acres of groomed trails located right on the Idaho Panhandle National Forests. Not only is there an opportunity to ride trails, but some of the most unique backcountry riding we have ever experienced. With so much area available to ride, we hit up Summer Snow Outfitters to help guide us to the goods, and they delivered!
YELLOWSTONE TETON TERRITORY, IDAHO
Experience the best of both states in the Yellowstone Teton Territory. YTT’s world-class snowmobiling is known for its deep-powdery snow and 360-degree views. There are 280 miles of trail on the Northwest side of the mountains with a mix of boondocking and off-trail riding options, making it a great place for riders of all skill levels.
